Notice at collection
We collect account email addresses, sign-in credentials, display names, organization and invitation details; and Stripe customer and subscription reference numbers, subscription status, and access dates. Our hosting provider, Vercel, receives technical information such as your IP address to deliver and protect the website.
Vercel Web Analytics collects page-view information such as page URLs, referrers, browser and device information, and approximate location inferred from requests. We use it to understand aggregate website usage and page views and improve the website.
We use this information to secure accounts, provide subscriptions and team access, process payments, deliver service messages, operate maps, support customers, prevent abuse, understand website usage, and meet legal obligations.
We use your email address for account and subscription messages, support, and notices when new features included in your subscription are released. When you email us, we use your message to respond and help resolve your request. We do not send marketing emails.
Search terms and estimator inputs are processed in your browser. They are not sent to Encompass’s servers or saved as search or calculation history.
Information collected in the previous 12 months
The categories are identifiers and account details; customer records and commercial subscription information; internet or other electronic activity; organization or professional information supplied for team access; and approximate location inferred from network activity.
Sources include you, an organization owner who invites you, your browser or device, Stripe, Supabase, and activity generated when you use the service.
For the business purposes described above, we disclosed identifiers and account details to account, email, and hosting providers; commercial and payment information to Stripe; technical and electronic activity information to hosting, security, and Vercel Web Analytics providers; and IP address, approximate network location, and map-request details to CARTO, Esri, and the MapLibre hosted-font service.
Sign-in credentials are used only to authenticate and secure the account. Stripe handles payment-card details. We do not use sensitive personal information beyond providing, securing, and maintaining the service.
Where information goes
Service providers include Supabase for accounts and application data, Stripe for billing, Resend for transactional email, and Vercel for hosting and Vercel Web Analytics. Map use can send technical request data directly to CARTO and Esri tile services and to the MapLibre hosted-font service.
Organization owners can see member names, email addresses, invitation status, access status, and subscription administration information for their team. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or to protect the service and its users.
Retention
We retain information as needed to provide your subscription, respond to requests, and meet legal obligations. Certain records, including proof of your subscription agreement, must be kept after your subscription ends. Stripe handles payment information as described in its Privacy Policy.
Sale, sharing, and tracking
During the preceding 12 months, we have not sold personal information or shared it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use cross-site advertising tracking.
Browser and device controls may limit cookies, but some storage is required to sign in and provide the service. Because we do not use cross-site advertising tracking, the service does not currently respond differently to Do Not Track signals.
Vercel Web Analytics does not use analytics cookies or follow you across websites for advertising. It records anonymous data points and presents aggregated statistics. Vercel receives IP addresses in incoming requests; its analytics request hash is discarded after 24 hours. See Vercel’s Web Analytics privacy documentation for details.
California privacy rights
Based on confirmed business facts, CCPA request procedures do not currently apply to this business. You may still contact us to ask about, access, or update information associated with your account.
